CIID is a recognized institution in the academic sector, providing quality services and training to public servants in Colombia and other countries in the region.

Its main focus is to contribute to the development and modernization of public administration, as well as to foster innovation and research in the field.

The institution has a team of highly qualified professionals with extensive experience in public management, who work to ensure that the services provided meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Research

To gather feedback on its image and public perception, the institution conducted a research study which yielded valuable insights. Some of the key findings included:

- The acronym "CIID" was strongly associated with the institution and was easily remembered and pronounced by participants.

- Blue was the CIID's dominant color, likely due to its use in branding.

- Respondents tended to view the CIID as a formal, hierarchical organization.

These findings helped inform the development of a new graphic system for the institution that would allow for greater visibility and recognition of its services, while also unifying internal communications through a cohesive visual identity.

The primary target audience for the new branding efforts were those who frequently attended academic events, were affiliated with the public administration, or had a contractual relationship with the CIID.

Work Process

Stakeholders wanted a graphic system to showcase services and establish a distinct identity. A cohesive visual language was also needed for internal communications, especially legal documents.

The goal of this project is to create a graphic system that will showcase the institution's services, establish a recognizable identity, and unify internal communications. The stakeholders want the brand to resonate with their target audience.

Approach

The brand's visual identity used an open source typeface customized for accurate reproduction across media. A unique blue color scheme unified the documentation and provided a strong visual identity for future communications. The system was designed with attention to detail, ensuring coherence and consistency across all applications, creating a recognizable identity that resonated with the target audience.
